I decided to start this blog to share some ideas and tips on how to enjoy life here in Switzerland without having to spend a lot of money.
In 2013, my little family and I decided to move from Canada to Switzerland. I actually grew up here, but moved to Canada to start my own family with my husband. My husband who works in research had an opportunity to continue a new career adventure here, so we decided to try what living here in Switzerland as a family would be like.
Living in Switzerland is certainly not cheap, but there are a lot of opportunities to save and find great deals, sometimes where you least expect them.
I'm mostly hoping to benefit newcomer families with children, but I suppose certain tips can help anyone who is new to Switzerland, regardless if they have children or not.
Also, I hope that anyone who reads this blog is willing to share some of his/her own ideas and tips, so that we can all benefit from them :)
